Painting a rock in the middle of the night in Harlem...




Brandi wanted to paint the rock at the Middle School Tuesday night for her daughter's 11th birthday so who better to enlist for a little mischief than me!?! Our husbands were a little concerned, but we managed to convince them it's not actually vandalism if that's what the rocks are put there for! Good times!

Today I went with Wendie for her ultrasound, but Baby Boy 3 was being a little camera shy. We had no problem confirming that he is indeed still a boy, but he was curled up face down and not in the mood to give us any good glimpses of his little face! (Well, at least until Wendie had some of the sweetest tea ever at Cafe 209 after the appointment!)

I'd say yaaay for Friday, but I guess everyday's Friday when you're a stay at home mom! It's been fun, but I am looking forward to the weekend to have the hubby hanging out with me too! Should be a busy weekend though...Greenbrier/Lakeside game Friday night, photoshoot Saturday morning then up to Kid's Camp for a little while and back in time for some college football...And then Sunday will be alittle crazy with the ministry fair at church and who knows what else...

Anyways, off to watch a little Clemson v. Georgia Tech...Yep, it's officially fall in my book!! (Now where's the cooler temps??)

Labor Day Weekend! Yaaay! AND the beginning of COLLEGE FOOTBALL! Woohoo!

Finally blogging again as I'm watching a bit of the Miami/FSU game as our 3-day weekend is coming to an end! (Well, for Matt at least! I'm on permanent weekend! Haha!)

Saturday morning Wendie and I went out shopping for a bigger vehicle to make room for Baby Boy 3. First we hit up the Honda dealership and two test-drives later we settled on the one it's to be! A dark blue Honda Odyssey! Yep...In about 30 minutes we picked out their new family vehicle! Craziness! I mean, it takes us longer than that to pick out patterned paper for a scrapbooking layout!

Then Matt & I spent the afternoon/evening down in Gibson watching the Georgia Oklahoma State game with Jason, Kacey & Jaleigh! Good times! Just like the old days except it took us a little longer to get home afterwards!




Then Sunday was Sunday and included a somewhat impromptu photoshoot with the Stickels at Savannah Rapids...I'm sure I got at least a couple good pictures out of it, but none the less, we all had fun just hanging out together and chasing those sweet little boys around! (I still can't believe there's about to be a THIRD one!)

Today was pretty lazy, but that's how Labor Day should be! So now that football season's started I'm officially declaring it FALL! Time for pumpkins, changing leaves and mountain trips! Woohoo! Can't wait!!

While Amy & Reggie had small group this evening we had a little fun with the girls!

First, was a trip up to the playground in the neighborhood, but unfortunately there are no pictures because after about 3 minutes of swinging we had to seek shelter under the slide to avoid being drenched in the sudden downpour!

We'd planned to have a picnic dinner at the playground, but due to the rain we had to relocate that event to our living room!

Afterward we even made a special trip to Brusters for some ice cream! Both girls were perfectly behaved, but the older couple sitting near us enjoyed watching us...At one point I turned to them and said, "They're not ours! We're not very good at this!"

But hey! ice cream is better when you get it all over you, right??

Exciting week ahead...Getting my wisdom teeth out Wednesday! Only two days from now and I'm still excited! Yaaay! (We'll see if I feel the same way come Wednesday evening!)

Tonight we spent the evening at the pool with the Stickels! Always a fun time with these two little guys!

Oh my gosh! So I just shot my first wedding and it was so so awesome!! I had so much fun doing it and now my mind is just going like 10,000 miles per hour and I just can't even think straight! My body is like really really tired, but I can't slow down! It's like craziness!! Matt's at the church working so I got home all by myself but I was on the phone talking to Steve and he probably thinks I've totally gone off the deep end, but really I haven't, it's just all craziness!! So then I walk in my house and I'm totally talking like a crazy person and walking in circles between the kitchen and the living room and talking to myself, but I'm not like talking all quietly, I'm like talking all loud like I'm having a conversation with myself and it was just craziness. And then Wendie called me back b/c she saw I had called and I so I talked to her and then I mean I was like totally totally stinky from being outside in the 1,000 degree heat so I jumped in the shower and then I had to come check out what's been going on the world for like the last 6 hourse since I've been technology deprived and Twitter is still being gay so I couldn't even tweet during the wedding! I mean seriously! There were so many tweet-worthy moments and all b/c some hacker dude decided to be all retraded I wasn't able to tweet! Matt has the laptop in his car and so I'm having to use the computer in the office and that's no fun because I prefer to lay on the couch with the laptop! But then Lindsey Leland called me back so I talked to her for a few minutes and gave her all the yummy details of the evening and then she had so go so she could go to sleep b/c she's gotta get up early in the morning and I was thinking it was b/c she has to drive to Atlanta in the morning but then she said she was already in Atlanta and that's just like totally crazy b/c the whole time I was talking to her I was picturing her sitting in her apartment here and it was just crazy b/c she wasn't! I mean she's like in a whole different city! And I had no clue! I mean it was just like so funny! Agh so I think I'm getting a headache b/c I'm not getting enough oxygen to my brain b/c I'm talking so fast and my fingers can't keep up with me and I need to take out my contacts. Maybe if I go do that and just like lay down I'll get kinda sleepy and be able to fall asleep! And then I'll wake up and it'll be Saturday! Yaaay for Saturday! And then I'll go get Grey a birthday present and go to his birthday party! And then it'll be Sunday and then it'll be Monday and then the whole work-week and that's no fun b/c I prefer the weekends! Yaaay for weekends! And yaaay for weddings! And now I'm going to go check back in on FB one more time and then I'm gonna try to chill! Haha yeah! Good luck with that one! Oh well! We'll see! Hopefully I won't be back tonight! Later gator!!

This past weekend we made a whirlwind trip to North Carolina! Matt's Aunt & Uncle and Grandma (on his dad's side) relocated up there from Atlanta a couple of years ago and we hadn't made it up there to see them yet. Everyone went - Matt's parents, Christine, Amy/Reggie/Natalie/Laurel and Granny.

We spent the afternoon playing at the pool which was definitely a highlight for the girls!

Everyone else headed back Sunday morning while Matt & I headed up to Durham to visit The Summit Church. This is David & Jen Thompson and Shannon Simoneau's church so we were excited to get to check out a church we'd been hearing about for years and also get to hang out with some good friends!

The Folder Game!

Haven't really been blogging on here lately...(Well, like 3 weeks if you wanna get technical!) Just been INCREDIBLY busy!

This is a picture is of a flower outside of our apartment where we lived the first couple years we were married. Funny, but I actually remember what all was going on when I took this picture! We were painting our living/dining room (again!) and even though the room was in total disarray one of our cats was sleeping contently on the back of the couch. I got out my camera and took a couple pictures of her and then went outside to take some more random pictures to take a break from painting! Now I keep this pic and a few others from that afternoon on my jump drive to use as my desktop wallpaper here at work!

Just spent the entire evening at the mall and I'm once again convinced I could never be a shopaholic! I went in to tonight's "shopping spree" with no spending limits on myself and still I did not find any clothes for myself for the first 2 hours! (I did find black and white panties that I wanted, but that just doesn't really count!) It wasn't until our final stop in Express that I found three dress shirts that I liked and even then I would have NEVER gotten them had they not been 40% off! I even put my favorite one back without even a second thought when I thought it wasn't on sale! I just have such a hard time buying for myself if I can't justify the item as a complete and total necessity! For example, I had to force myself to get another pair of black close-toed dress shoes despite the fact that the only ones I've ever owned are falling apart...So they're all scuffed up and the sides are pealing away, they still serve their purpose! They still protect my feet when I'm walking and that's all they're supposed to do!! Who cares what they look like?!? I don't! Agh! It's craziness! (And yes, for those of you who know me really well, I WOULD still be wearing my original fake Birkenstocks with the soles worn paper thin had God Himself not asked me to give them up!!)

Anyways! Tomorrow's Thursday, but it's the last day of the work week before our three day weekend!! Yaaay for the Fourth of July!! Looking forward to lots of pool time with some good books!

We had such a nice, relaxing weekend just hanging out at the pool! It was incredibly hot, but floating around the pool with a good book makes it way more tolerable!

You'd think two full day of the pool would be enough for us, but here we go again (to the neighborhood pool this time) with the Stickel boys for the evening!

Now that the longest softball season ever has ended and we're back from Jamaica, our evenings should be pretty free! Of course there's always youth on Wednesday nights and then Small Group every other Monday, but still, that's a whole lot of Tuesdays and Thursdays with nothing to do! What ever are we going to do with ourselves??
