Wendie and Andy have gone to Atlanta for the weekend to celebrate their anniversary. They took Grey to spend the weekend with Uncle Robert & Aunt Lindsay while B (Andy's mom) came here to stay with Jackson. To give B a little break this evening we picked up Jackson and took him to feed the ducks and to the park! We had SOOO much fun with him! This was actually the first time we've taken Jackson anywhere by ourselves and he's at that super cute age right now where you just wanna eat him up!

I just love that chubby little hand reaching out for more crackers to feed the ducks!!

And I had no idea these crazy geese will chase you down and eat right out of your hand!!

Busy couple of weeks!

Softball FINALLY started! (We're 1-1 but I don't want to discuss that right now!)

A great Friday night at home CLEANING!! What a sense of accomplishment! A little more to do tomorrow and then big plans to lay out in the rugged terrain backyard and finish up a good book!

A weekend with no commitments...I think I've died and gone to heaven!

Finally!! I feel like I've been trying to make it here to Blogger-land all night!!

We got back yesterday evening from our weekend trip to Hilton Head with the Jeffcoats & the Lelands...We had SUCH a good time!! We haven't had a chance to exchange CDs of all our pictures so for now we've each got a few from our own cameras posted on our blogs...(To see more, check out Lindsey's & Lindsay's!)








For some crazy reason Jadyn decided his Goldfish tastes better dipped in sand...









John Ross and Jadyn LOVED riding the bike with Lee pulling them...Saturday morning they got to ride all th way from the house to the beach! This picture was taken as Lee was leaving to take John Ross on a solo ride down the beach to search for lunch!



And unfortunately as I uploaded these pics I realized this somewhat candid shot outside The Salty Dog is our ONLY group shot of the weekend! It's not even a good one and of course one of the little guys isn't even looking!!

Sunday was the Easter Luau at church...Unfortunately Jadyn was in the middle of a great nap when it was time to find eggs so his mommy woke him up, handed him a basket and stood him in the middle of the grass. He was not too happy. He's sporting his "angry" face in all the pictures!!




Well, except for this one...He just can't resist smiling for Mr. Matt!!



John Ross on the other hand was having a great time! He never even noticed that we just kept taking eggs out of his basket and rehiding them long after everyone else was done!!




Baby Carson was way more interested in this ball than those little eggs!

After I took this picture Cole adopted me for a little while...He went inside all by himself and fixed a plate and came back outside and just sat down next to me to eat! We talked about all kind of stuff...He remembered how I always shared my fruit with him last summer at the pool and we decided I would bring him lots of strawberries this year!

We had a very cold softball practice tonight so now I'mm warming by the fire and excited that there's only two more days in this work week before heading to the beach with the Jeffcoats and Lelands for the weekend!!

Guess who's keeping John Ross tonight while his mommy and daddy have Bible study??

We played outside for a bit while John Ross flirted with our neighbor Candice and then took a little trip to the playground in our neighborhood...

And I know this isn't the best picture, but I couldn't help but posting because his expression is just so hilarious!!

So that's Friday evening in a nutshell!! No big plans for tomorrow...Just a relaxing (knock on wood!!) weekend!!

Well, well, well. Another week has come and gone! Rather uneventful I might add!!

I was home sick all day yesterday and then again this afternoon...Nothing bad, just annoying allergies. With that being said, the highlight of the last two days for me was taking this picture:


Yes, that's the house on the corner of our street. The last one to be sold in our section that's been on the market for TWO YEARS!! Every Saturday and Sunday there's an "Open House" and every time we drive by over the weekend we always sarcastically say, "Look, Open House!" as if we're really surprised. But as of today, it looks like we won't be saying that any more...Note that wonderful "Under Contract" sticker on the For Sale Sign! Woohoo!!

Tomorrow was supposed to be Zoo Day with Wendie, Andy and the boys, but we decided earlier in the week to reschedule due to the fact that it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Actually, we were supposed to have bad storms today too, but I haven't seen much more than a few sprinkles so I'm going to be very upset if tomorrow turns out to be a perfectly fine zoo day!

Well, Happy Friday night! (Oh, check out a few sneak peaks from last weekend's shoot on my photo blog!)

Sometimes there's just not enough hours in the day!! Like right now I know I should be getting ready for bed, but all weekend I'd been thinking I'd blog tonight and then there was just 7,000 things to get done before I ever got to this point!! (Maybe if I wouldn't have slept til noon I would've had more time to get everything done!!)

Yesterday I had a 3 Month photoshoot with baby Jaleigh...This is the baby that was the perfect angel for her newborn shoot, but for some reason yesterday she did NOT want to be that same little angel!! Nothing we could do would make her happy except let her go to sleep!! Hopefully I'll be able to get those pics uploaded and edited in the next couple of days and pray that I got at least a few good shots!!

Last night we stopped by Matt's parents' house to feed the dogs only to discover that the dogs had ONCE AGAIN dug under the fence!! Luckily there were several messages on their answering machine from people who had seen them and then eventually someone who'd picked them up and brought them back and left them with a neighbor until we could get them...We walked across to the neighbors' house to find friends I hadn't seen in years that we had no idea now live across the street from Matt's parents...Totally crazy, but really cool!!

Tonight was Family Fun Night for church at Adventure Crossing. We had fun playing a few games and racing Go-Carts...My parents even came and my dad had a great time running around with us! But man! Those Go-Carts sure do go a whole lot faster than they look!!

Once again, I've gone over a week without blogging! Oh well, welcome to my life!

Now that I've survived the weekend I can't even remember last week! This weekend was D-Now so I've been hanging out with our teenagers pretty much all weekend...For the most part everything went great with no major issues, but us old folks sure are exhausted!! Matt and I literally slept all afternoon today!

Now we're hanging out with the littlest nieces while their mommy and daddy have small group at their house...

Dinnertime!



(And of course we would NEVER let a little niece watch TV while eating!! No way! Not us!)

John Ross is hanging out with us for the evening...He really likes our kitties!! I think he could play with them all night and never get bored! This is our first time having one-on-one time with JR but we've quickly learned he's a really cool little guy and super easy-going! He's got tons of personality and is super sweet!

USUALLY the weather forecast says "slight to no accumulation" so if they're actually SAYING we're gonna get 2 inches is it okay to go ahead and get my hopes up?? I sure hope so!! Since the big stuff's not supposed to start til about 9 or so, I told Matt he better go ahead and take a nap b/c he's totally staying up to watch with me!! Oh you have no idea how much I would LOVE to have a couple of inches on the ground!!

So for now we're just chilling by the fire doing much of nothing...(Except enjoying some yummy white chocolate covered strawberries!!)
