Well, well, well. Another week has come and gone! Rather uneventful I might add!!

I was home sick all day yesterday and then again this afternoon...Nothing bad, just annoying allergies. With that being said, the highlight of the last two days for me was taking this picture:

Yes, that's the house on the corner of our street. The last one to be sold in our section that's been on the market for TWO YEARS!! Every Saturday and Sunday there's an "Open House" and every time we drive by over the weekend we always sarcastically say, "Look, Open House!" as if we're really surprised. But as of today, it looks like we won't be saying that any more...Note that wonderful "Under Contract" sticker on the For Sale Sign! Woohoo!!

Tomorrow was supposed to be Zoo Day with Wendie, Andy and the boys, but we decided earlier in the week to reschedule due to the fact that it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Actually, we were supposed to have bad storms today too, but I haven't seen much more than a few sprinkles so I'm going to be very upset if tomorrow turns out to be a perfectly fine zoo day!

Well, Happy Friday night! (Oh, check out a few sneak peaks from last weekend's shoot on my photo blog!)

Sometimes there's just not enough hours in the day!! Like right now I know I should be getting ready for bed, but all weekend I'd been thinking I'd blog tonight and then there was just 7,000 things to get done before I ever got to this point!! (Maybe if I wouldn't have slept til noon I would've had more time to get everything done!!)

Yesterday I had a 3 Month photoshoot with baby Jaleigh...This is the baby that was the perfect angel for her newborn shoot, but for some reason yesterday she did NOT want to be that same little angel!! Nothing we could do would make her happy except let her go to sleep!! Hopefully I'll be able to get those pics uploaded and edited in the next couple of days and pray that I got at least a few good shots!!

Last night we stopped by Matt's parents' house to feed the dogs only to discover that the dogs had ONCE AGAIN dug under the fence!! Luckily there were several messages on their answering machine from people who had seen them and then eventually someone who'd picked them up and brought them back and left them with a neighbor until we could get them...We walked across to the neighbors' house to find friends I hadn't seen in years that we had no idea now live across the street from Matt's parents...Totally crazy, but really cool!!

Tonight was Family Fun Night for church at Adventure Crossing. We had fun playing a few games and racing Go-Carts...My parents even came and my dad had a great time running around with us! But man! Those Go-Carts sure do go a whole lot faster than they look!!

Once again, I've gone over a week without blogging! Oh well, welcome to my life!

Now that I've survived the weekend I can't even remember last week! This weekend was D-Now so I've been hanging out with our teenagers pretty much all weekend...For the most part everything went great with no major issues, but us old folks sure are exhausted!! Matt and I literally slept all afternoon today!

Now we're hanging out with the littlest nieces while their mommy and daddy have small group at their house...

Dinnertime!

(And of course we would NEVER let a little niece watch TV while eating!! No way! Not us!)

Happy Thursday evening!!

John Ross is hanging out with us for the evening...He really likes our kitties!! I think he could play with them all night and never get bored! This is our first time having one-on-one time with JR but we've quickly learned he's a really cool little guy and super easy-going! He's got tons of personality and is super sweet!

Here's a few pics...(Ignore the graniness!)

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!

USUALLY the weather forecast says "slight to no accumulation" so if they're actually SAYING we're gonna get 2 inches is it okay to go ahead and get my hopes up?? I sure hope so!! Since the big stuff's not supposed to start til about 9 or so, I told Matt he better go ahead and take a nap b/c he's totally staying up to watch with me!! Oh you have no idea how much I would LOVE to have a couple of inches on the ground!!

So for now we're just chilling by the fire doing much of nothing...(Except enjoying some yummy white chocolate covered strawberries!!)

Wow. Back from Winter Camp and that's all I can say. Wow.

This weekend was AMAZING! I don't like being out of my normal routine...I don't like sleeping/eating/hanging out in dirty places...And I don't like feeling totally exhausted and only getting a few hours of sleep each night...BUT as much as I hate all those things, I'd go right back to camp in a heartbeat with the group of students and leaders I had the pleasure of spending this weekend with!

I can't even put into words the experiences of this weekend. All my thoughts are just randomness at this point...Give me a few days to absorb it all...(And catch up on my sleep!)

Until then, here's a few (unedited) pictures!!

I survived a pretty insane week at work and am very glad it's the weekend...Too bad it's almost over!!

This afternoon I had a photoshoot with sweet little Lawsyn for her 3 month pictures and tomorrow me and her mommy are gonna go take even more pictures while her daddy is playing softball!! I'm so lucky to have great friends who'll let me practice and try out new ideas on their babies!! Here's one of my favorites from today...

And yes! Please take note of that green grass that I searched all over town for!! The rest of todays pics are on my website (www.jennharrisonphotography.com) and maybe tomorrow I'll get around to posting a few on my photography blog...(Just not really in the computer mood right now!!)

So after a pain-free weekend, Matt woke up in misery again this morning about 5:30am. He toughed it out til about 10am, but then we made the trip back to the ER. They gave him a different pain med this time and it's really made him feel completely out of his head. Friday, once the pain was under control he was fine, but now with this med even when the pain's gone he feels miserably sick and uncomfortable! Looks like a boring night home for us!! I really hope he passes this dang thing soon and gets back to his normal self!! I miss my husband!!

On another note...Here's a few random pics I took of my sister's dogs over the weekend...(I'll have to take some better ones in the spring once the grass comes back to life!!)

Molly with her mutilated Gatorade bottle...

Sweet Jack...

"Go Molly Go!! Go Jack Go!!"

And not necessarily a great pic, but I just love the look on my nephew's face and his sweet little hand trying to pet crazy Jack!

Okay so I'm definitely in the running for the worst blogger award! Lately I've been averaging a total of one post a week!! I'm sorry!! Forgive me!! Maybe part of my problem is I don't like to have too many posts in a row with no pictures, but I'm too lazy to transfer pics from my cameras!

So anyways...The highlights of the week...

Tuesday night was a girl's night out for Lindsey Leland's birthday. Dinner and dessert at Boll Weevil!

Then the "excitement" of the week began Thursday night after we went to bed...Matt woke up about midnight with what felt like a cramp in his back. After a little while the pain seemed to ease up and he fell back asleep. Right about 4am he awoke again but this time was in some serious pain. (In an attempt to preserve his manliness I will avoid using such words as "crying," "moaning" and "shaking") Lucky for us, I've witnessed the effects of many kidney stones with my dad so although I wasn't too "worried" but I knew the only way for Matt to find some relief would be a trip to the ER for some major drugs!! So off we go at 4am!! We got there and they took Matt back immediately...Everyone knew exactly what it was just by the way it had come on so quickly and the way he described the pain. Within about 7 minutes of walking in the door they had him hooked up to an IV and started him on some morphine! Our awesome friend Steve met us there and we (well me and him at least!) had a impromptu student ministry meeting while the poor hubby was getting good and drugged up!! After they got the pain under control they sent us home with more pain meds to keep things tolerable until the stone passes...We got home about 8:30am and climbed right back in the bed!! We slept for a good while and then spent the day being lazy and catching up on some DVR'ed TV shows!

Since then, the weekend's been pretty uneventful...As far as Matt, he doesn't think he's passed his kidney stone, but it's not in a place where it's currently causing him pain...

Now it's time to head back to work for the week and start counting the days til next weekend!!

At least we've got a new episode of The Office coming on after the Super Bowl!!

I was going to bed. Not because I'm sleepy or anything, but just because that's what you're supposed to at night. Sleep. But again, I'm not really sleepy. I really was going to go to bed though, but I had to check my mail one last time before I shut the laptop down and then I had a Facebook friend request and I didn't want to leave poor Katie in suspense so I signed on FB real quick-like to accept her request and then I remembered I hadn't seen Mary's maternity pictures she'd posted on there so I had to just go look at those and then I saw she'd written the "25 Things" note that everyone's passing around these days and one of her items mentioned Coronado Island so I had to leave her a little note to reminisce about my own Coronado Island experience. And then as I was signing off I just happened to see that Sarah was on and felt the urge to see if she still around. She was, so we started chatting and then FB freaked out and told me I didn't have any friends anymore and that kinda hurt my feelings. Now FB won't even let me back on so I'm just rambling here instead. I hope Sarah's not worried about me since I vanished so quickly. Hmm...Maybe I better try to get back on just to make sure...I'd hate for her not to be able to sleep tonight because not being able to sleep is really quite frustrating. Especially when you know you've got to get up in the morning...And even more especially when your husband is just sleeping so wonderfully beside you. Yeah I know I should be happy for him, I mean, at least one of us is getting a good nights sleep, but it's just so dang annoying! I mean how do they do it?! Just fall right asleep! I'll never know...Now what was I saying again?? I totally lost track of what I was even posting about!! Oh well...I'm sure I'll figure it out while I'm laying in bed not sleeping!!
