I was going to bed. Not because I'm sleepy or anything, but just because that's what you're supposed to at night. Sleep. But again, I'm not really sleepy. I really was going to go to bed though, but I had to check my mail one last time before I shut the laptop down and then I had a Facebook friend request and I didn't want to leave poor Katie in suspense so I signed on FB real quick-like to accept her request and then I remembered I hadn't seen Mary's maternity pictures she'd posted on there so I had to just go look at those and then I saw she'd written the "25 Things" note that everyone's passing around these days and one of her items mentioned Coronado Island so I had to leave her a little note to reminisce about my own Coronado Island experience. And then as I was signing off I just happened to see that Sarah was on and felt the urge to see if she still around. She was, so we started chatting and then FB freaked out and told me I didn't have any friends anymore and that kinda hurt my feelings. Now FB won't even let me back on so I'm just rambling here instead. I hope Sarah's not worried about me since I vanished so quickly. Hmm...Maybe I better try to get back on just to make sure...I'd hate for her not to be able to sleep tonight because not being able to sleep is really quite frustrating. Especially when you know you've got to get up in the morning...And even more especially when your husband is just sleeping so wonderfully beside you. Yeah I know I should be happy for him, I mean, at least one of us is getting a good nights sleep, but it's just so dang annoying! I mean how do they do it?! Just fall right asleep! I'll never know...Now what was I saying again?? I totally lost track of what I was even posting about!! Oh well...I'm sure I'll figure it out while I'm laying in bed not sleeping!!

Wow! I can't believe how quickly this week has gone by!

I'm kinda excited that it's Thursday b/c after Thursday comes Friday and Friday means our first Journey scrapbooking night of the new year!! Yippee!! I've been overly excited for the past few weeks looking forward to it!! (But unfortunately between now and then is the rest of today, tonight and a whole day's work tomorrow!!)

Yesterday during lunch I made a trip over to the Vital Records Department in Richmond County because I needed a certified copy of my birth certificate. I've always remembered this little tiny building over in the middle of nowhere from back when my dad and I went to get a copy of my birth certificate before I started school...Every time I've ever been by there I always spot it, but yesterday I was actually going there with a purpose! Yes, this would be at least the THIRD birth certificate I've been issued...Who knows what happened to my original birth certificate my parents received shortly after I was born...And then that second I got all those many years ago with my dad was in my car when it got totaled back when I was like 18...So I've gone all these years without proof I was born, but finally broke down and went and got another copy so that I can get a passport. (Because one will need a passport this summer if they're planning on vacationing in the Caribbean!!). Now of course I looked at my other birth certificate several times throughout my life, but that still didn't stop me from reading every single line on the new one yesterday JUST TO MAKE SURE those people I call "Mom and Dad" REALLY ARE the ones responsible for my birth. And so the jury's in! It's official! (Once again!) I really was born on June 18th at 12:07pm and "Mom" and "Dad" REALLY ARE mom and dad! (But the jury IS still out on whether or not that's a good thing!! J/K)

Once again, I've REALLY been meaning to blog, but somehow the week just managed to slip away!!

Monday night was Small Group and Wednesday night was youth...I went to the gym Tuesday and Thursday after work...And took half a day of vacation Friday...Then Saturday was Saturday and Sunday was Sunday and now it's time to go back to work tomorrow!!

Yeah. So this "gym" thing...I REALLY have to push myself to go! I'd MUCH rather come straight home in the evenings and relax...NOT go run on a treadmill until I think I'm gonna die (which unfortunately happens somewhere around .15 of a mile!!) BUT I'm trying!! AND I even went to an hour of Pilates and thirty minutes of Zumba with Sarah W. Saturday morning! (Yes, I said I went to Zumba! Pick yourself up off the floor and try to keep from laughing!!) Now although I WENT to these two classes I can in no way, shape or form say that I DID these two classes because I was absolutely, totally incredibly HORRIBLE at BOTH of them!! I mean, I thought, "Pilates...Sure it may be tough on your body, but it can't be too hard!" WRONG!! I was SO lost the entire time!! I couldn't even BREATHE right!! And then ZUMBA?!? I was even WORSE!! It's not like I CARE or am worried about people laughing at me, but I was so so BAD!! Like insanely bad!! But I have NEVER claimed to have ANY kind of rhythm or coordination so what can you expect!?! Besides, It was kinda fun and definitely tiring so I'm sure I'll go again when I can!!

Also yesterday I had a newborn shoot with 7 day old baby Sam...She really is a sweet baby, but she sure wasn't into having her picture taken!! Sarah D. and I felt SO bad messing with her when all she wanted to do was cozy up to mom and take a good nap!

So now this week should be pretty light...But I'm sure it's going to go by incredibly slow considering how much I'm looking forward to Friday night and our first ever Journey Crop in the Cafe! I've got one layout planned and two more I need to plan and print the pictures for. (As if I'd actually get more than ONE done anyway!!)

So that's a week in the life in a nutshell!! Now I'm off to do the week's journaling for Project 365!

100 Posts!

Yippee! I've reached 100 blog posts!! If I'd have paid more attention I would have made it a point to have gotten #100 in before the New Year, but oh well!! And considering I didn't actually start blogging til April 8th of 2008, my 100th post came in just under 9 months!

So I haven't wanted to mention Project 365 with will the drama going on with the whole ordering process over at CK, but since I just got off the phone with customer service (after holding for only 2 hours!) and have been assured that mine and Lindsey's order was one of the first ones and is therefor in the on-site warehouse and will be shipping out today or tomorrow, my P365 mojo has returned!! Now I just can't wait to get that hot little box in my hands and behold all it's yummy contents!! (But my luck it's gonna come Wednesday when I only have time to run home and then get to youth!! Thursday would be good...)

The other "excitement" in my life over the past few days was mine and Matt's first trip to the Y on Saturday! It went pretty good and I was a little sore yesterday, but today is freaking terrible!! Just my abs though, but it's absolutely horrible!! This coming from the person who once could do 350 crunches on an excercise ball without even breaking a sweat! Seriously it hurts so bad!! And all I even did was 3 sets of 10!! I can't even stand up straight! Forget coughing, sneezing or even deficating for that matter!! (TMI??)

Welcome Baby Sam!!

My sweet friend Sarah gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl yesterday evening...She weighed in at 9lbs 4oz and is 22.5 inches long!

After church this morning I went down for a visit and was able to spend a good while just hanging out...Sarah's hubby Jimmy is in the Navy and is currently deployed, but Sarah has been so awesome during this entire pregnancy and I know she'll be an awesome mommy! Sarah and baby Sam (short for Samantha) are both doing really great especially considering all they've been through in a the last couple crazy days!!

Here's a couple pics of our new baby girl we're all so excited to love on and even a silly one of mommy talking on the phone!!

Happy Belated New Year!!

I didn't even realize I hadn't blogged in a week!! (I've been Twittering...Does that count?!?)

Let's see...Week in review...Wednesday through today were holidays at work, but with it being month end (AND year end!) a few of us had to go in for a while Wednesday and today, but at least we'll get comp time for it later...And of course in the midst of all that there was New Years!

Steve and Sarah got tickets to the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville so they had a bit of an impromptu trip. To make it easier on people who aren't used to having multiple kids they decided to split them up for a couple of days...We took Rachel, Leland took Abby and the Winge's took Ellis.

So for New Years Eve us and Rachel hung out with the Stickels for a while (including dinner at Waffle House!). Then we made an appearance at the Jeffcoats (where Lindsey & Abby were) and got in a little playing time on the Wii! Matt and Rachel were pretty tired so we made it home just in time to watch the ball drop (with Dick Clark) and then headed off to bed!

New Years Day consisted of lunch at the parents (with Wendie & the boys!), the Georgia game and spending the evening with Lindsey, Jadyn and the White girls!

Now here we are and we have a whole weekend ahead of us!! Hmm...What to do, what to do??
